Physics
It's been three weeks since I started this absolutely fine 24 AU semester...... 7 mods of physics and math..... Wonderful....

I think it wouldn't be so bad if they were all simple, digestible subjects. But no..... Physics is never like that. There will always be at least one killer mod. In fact, the number of killer mods seem to increase linearly with each semester that passes. In sem 1, it was PAP111. In sem 2, it was MAS 183 and PAP112. Now in sem 3, there's PAP221, PAP211 and MAS281.

PAP211 (Quantum Mechanics)

Thus far still all right, but I'm expecting things to get crazy once we hit the Schrodinger's equation. This guy's like a time bomb waiting to explode....

MAS281 (Complex Methods for the Sciences)

I've always thought my math was not bad.... MAS183 was like a fire that turned my ego into ashes.... MAS281 is like the boy who's pissing on what's left of it. The textbook makes me more confused than I ever was, the tutorial standard is way higher than that of the lecture notes..... God save me....

PAP221 (Classical Mechanics)

This is the worst..... Classical mechanics is like dating a girl you think is hot, but sooner or later. you realise that it's actually a tranny in disguise..... Insights covered are interesting, and I finish the tutorial questions thinking "Yeah! This wasn't so bad after all!". Then when the prof goes through the solution I realise that the problem is a whole different monster altogether.....

I'm trying to treat this entire sem as one continuous exam period. My days have mostly been study, jazz and blues, sleep. Teaching on weekends then study and sleep again. Maybe an hour or two a day on the comp. I still seem to be lagging though...

Speaking of which, I saw what you see below in the Math Interactivity room. STUDY FAIL

I also haven't had time to exercise (or play guitar for that matter). I guess I shouldn't be complaining about the hike up to Nanyang House everytime I go for band practice...

It's still quite sian to climb up :(

Hiromi Uehara
Wait... I take back what I said about Kaori Kobayashi. She's a noob compared to Hiromi Uehara.... I'm definitely going for her concert if she comes to Singapore...

Hiromi Performs her version of Gershwin's I've Got Rythm.

Absolutely nuts.... words cannot express how Godlike she is......
