Predictions
America voted today.

I predicted Obama would win.

Physics test tommorow.

I predict that it won't be fantastic.

Chemistry test the day after.

I predict that I'll get p4wn3d.

Not good.

So I'm working the night shift to study SR in hopes that Physics won't p4wn me. Same drill tmr for chemistry I guess.

I feel like Popeye. Whenever exams and tiredness are beating the shit out of me, I grab a can of Red Bull, or a cup of coffee in order to fight back. The main difference between me and Popeye is that Popeye always owns Bluto after his spinach.

Anyhoo, the T'ang Quartet, came down to NTU today and the music was simply beautiful. I came to the realisation that I can't hope to be as good as the people I see on youtube and all these recitals. These are professionals. Virtuosos. People who have been playing since five or six years old just so they can become a professional musician when they grow up. People who study how their instrument in college when I'm studying Physics. But, I guess, even if I can't hope to be crazy good at guitar, I can still play for myself and the people around me and take enjoyment in that. Enjoyment and expression comes first. Bettering my technical skill only serves to enhance my enojyment and expression in music.

Physics on the other hand, is going to be my bread and butter, and I have no excuse to be bad at it. Therefore, back to the books.

The vid below is the T'ang Quartet playing the suite from Feet Unbound (which I took not so secretly during their performance today).

All the best to all students during this exam season. Enjoy.
